Graphic designer specializing in branding based in Traverse City, Michigan.

Being creative is just a way of life. As a graphic designer, I am constantly curious about the world around me especially when it comes to shapes, colors, textures, fonts, lettering and imagery. I discover inspiration in natural and urban environments. As much as design magazines and online sources inspire me, it’s everyday items such as an Asian takeout menu, graffiti on a building, a solo tree in a cornfield or velvet paisley wallpaper that capture my attention. There is a process of discovery and creativity that I enjoy. Ultimately, the goal is it to create brands that people love and remember.

I am proud to say that I have earned two degrees from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Obtaining two degrees wasn’t my original plan but it has prepared me well for a career as a graphic designer, marketer and entrepreneur. Engineering, being very black and white, has trained me to think logically and strategically when approaching problems. Whereas graphic design has taught me to be wild with my thoughts and think outside the box, to be original and different. Both encouraged me to generate unique ideas and to push the envelope.

Let’s talk and see if we’re a good fit. Say hello today!
